At Divers Republic Curaçao, our Try Dive experience is the perfect introduction to scuba diving for anyone who has never been underwater with full gear before. This relaxed and safe introductory session allows you to feel what it’s like to breathe underwater, float weightlessly and explore the beautiful Caribbean sea without committing to a full certification course.

We begin with a clear and friendly briefing where your instructor explains the equipment, basic hand signals, equalization, breathing techniques and the simple skills you will practice. Everything is explained in an easy and comfortable way so you feel confident from the start.

Once you’re ready, we enter shallow, calm water where you take your first breaths underwater under the direct supervision of your instructor. As you relax, we guide you on a short underwater tour where you can see colorful fish, corals and the magic of Curaçao’s marine life. Depth limits are kept shallow for safety, and your instructor stays right beside you at all times.

The Try Dive is ideal for adults, teens and families who want a no-pressure way to experience diving. Many guests fall in love with the underwater world and choose to continue with a full Open Water Diver course afterward, but the only goal of this session is to enjoy a safe, memorable first dive.
